Over 10 years of producing springs for the F-Type, we have run into a handful of vehicles that have taken abnormal fitments (i.e. AWD car needing 2WD front springs or vice versa.)
When installing, the VAP springs you’ve received should be approximately the same difference in length as the height reduction you are expecting. Please verify this before completing the installation.
If something is dramatically different please contact us and we can provide our best guidance. Furthermore, a standard tolerance for spring ride height is +/- 2mm. We will also include perch spacer sets which can allow you to adjust ride height upwards by 5 or 10mm increments.

Set of 4 VelocityAP lowering springs for Jaguar F-Type R AWD Coupe and Convertible, to reduce the ride height on your car by 7/8″, or 22mm.
VelocityAP springs use exclusively high quality, high stress X5K Spring Steel. The spring rate increases when you need it (cornering) and decreases when you don’t – yielding a smooth and supple ride over bumpy surfaces. The best of both worlds!
By using this unique manufacturing method, we can achieve a substantial increase in spring rate with huge handling benefits with no loss of ride comfort. As the spring de-rates, the shock absorber no longer struggles for rebound control and gives improved vehicle stability.

I spent hours, and many, many emails and texts with Scott, and Stuart at VelocityAP, over lowering springs.
Turns out, they had to do all the developement, and manufacturing on these, because they did not have the product for facelift AWD Ftypes.
They did this all, in about 5 months!
I had one of their dealers in my area, Boise Idaho, called BIG Motors. (British Italian German), order, and do the work…which I would have done, but I’m old with arthritis.
I cannot say enough positives about both VAP, and BIG!

I love the finished product. The car corners flatter, and the springs provide the same ride, until you get into the progression deeper.
