The 3.0 liter Twin Turbo I6 S55B30T0 engine in the BMW M3 & M5 (F80, F82, F83 platform) packs a powerful 425 BHP and 410ft/lbs of torqque. The most advanced M3 platform BMW has ever made. However, as with most modern turbo engines it is capable of much, much more. BMW has limited output to allow for ever increasing performance variants in later model years.
